Biography: Guy
Smith Roberts was the son of Richard Hawkins Roberts and Alice Mand
Roberts from Ainsdale, Southport in Lancashire. He was killed on
February 28th, 1942, while working as an apprentice on board the s.s.
City of Manchester when the ship sunk on that same day.
