The
NS 351 is a so called "Hondekop" (dogs head) type train from the
2-coach "Plan M" series (351-365) build in 1958 by Allan & Co´s
Koninklijke Nederlandsche Fabrieken van Meubelen en Spoorwegmaterieel
N.V. in Rotterdam. It was a two coach type called ElD-2 with Bk + ABDk
interior construction and Bo'2' + 2'Bo' axle arrangement. The train
measured 50.4 metres in length and reached a maximum speed of 140 km/h.
The 351 entered service in April 1958 in a deep green color and was
repainted into yellow on May 22nd, 1980. The train was taken out of
service on August 29th, 1993 and scrapped in May 1994. The codes for
the Bk and ABDk was 326.031 and 327.031.
