Unknown; Staff Sergeant, Headquarters and Service Company, 6th Marine Regiment, U.S. Marine Corps "For meritorious service while serving with Headquarters and Service Company, Sixth Marines, Second Marine Division, in action against enemy Japanese forces in the Solomon, Gilbert and Marianas Islands, from 4 January 1943 to 9 July 1944. Participating in these three major campaigns during this period, Staff Sergeant Bagley efficiently performed his duties and contributed materially to the success achieved by his unit. His conduct and devotion to duty in the face of enemy fire were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service." (Service number: 14 074 083) Savannah-Georgia/United States, February 24th, 1918 - Cherbourg-Normandy/France, June 12th, 1944)		June 12th, 1944; Private, Company B, 1st Battalion, 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment "For action during the Battle for Carentan, France." Awarded posthumously.
