Frizell, Thomas Frederick Peter

"This officer was the pilot of an aircraft which attacked a U-boat recently. The vessel was sighted fully surfaced a few miles ahead and Flying Officer Frizell made bis attack with great skill. In spite of heavy anti-aircraft fire he straddled the submarine with a number of depth charges which caused its destruction. The result achieved reflects the greatest credit on the skill, gallantry and determination
shown by this officer."
